Terms of Use
1. Purpose and scope
These Terms of Use (hereinafter the "Terms") govern access to and use of the CoVœur service, available via WhatsApp and the website www.covoeur.com (hereinafter the "Service").
By using the Service, you unconditionally accept these Terms. If you do not accept these conditions, you must stop using the Service immediately.
2. Service publisher
CoVœur is a service published by NOproBS, SASU with share capital of €1,000, Paris Trade Registry 984 241 075, registered office in Paris, France. Contact: contact form
3. Service description
CoVœur is a digital relationship-support and self-reflection service, powered by artificial intelligence. It is neither a healthcare service, nor a psychological diagnosis, nor a crisis-response system. It offers:
- An individual assessment (Relational Profile) based on a self-assessment questionnaire
- A combined Couple Assessment (by inviting a partner)
- Optional WhatsApp conversation analysis (with explicit double consent)
- Personal growth programs and couple exercises
- Conversational support via WhatsApp
CoVœur is an informational and educational tool. It is not, under any circumstances, therapy, a psychological diagnosis, or medical/paramedical care.
4. Access to the service
Access to the Service is restricted to adults (18 or older). By using the Service, you represent that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.
The Service is accessible via WhatsApp. You must have an active WhatsApp account to use CoVœur.
5. Registration and account
Using CoVœur does not require creating a traditional account. Your WhatsApp phone number serves as your unique identifier on the Service.
You are responsible for keeping access to your WhatsApp account confidential and for any activity conducted from it.
6. User obligations
By using CoVœur, you agree to:
- Provide truthful and accurate information in the self-assessment questionnaire
- Obtain your partner’s explicit prior consent before sharing any WhatsApp conversation for analysis
- Not use the Service for illegal, fraudulent, or malicious purposes
- Not attempt to bypass, hack, or alter the Service’s technical mechanisms
- Not use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm others
- Respect CoVœur’s intellectual property rights
7. Use of artificial intelligence
The analyses, the reports and the replies exchanged in conversation are generated by artificial intelligence models (Microsoft Azure OpenAI, hosted within the European Union and in Switzerland, a country recognized as adequate by the European Commission) based on the information you provide. This content is:
- Indicative: it reflects an algorithmic interpretation of your responses, not a clinical diagnosis
- Non-exhaustive: it only takes into account the elements you have shared
- Not guaranteed: its relevance depends on the quality and sincerity of the information provided
- Fallible: like any generative artificial intelligence system, CoVœur may produce inaccurate, incomplete or erroneous answers, including ones phrased with confidence. This applies to reports as well as to replies in the course of a conversation.
Before relying on any factual information given by CoVœur — a phone number, an address, a procedure to follow, legal, medical or financial information — check it against an official source. If you notice an error, please report it through our contact form: that is how the Service improves.
Certain situations, automatically detected based on warning signals (level of conflict, expressed distress, relational asymmetry), are flagged for review before the report is delivered. That review is carried out by the CoVœur team. It is not systematic: after a certain period without intervention, the report is delivered to you without having been reviewed, so as not to leave you without an answer. Reports and exchanges may also be subject to an after-the-fact quality review, on pseudonymized data.
This review does not constitute a clinical validation, nor professional advice, nor a diagnosis. It targets the quality and consistency of the analyses produced, not the assessment of your personal situation.
CoVœur is not a substitute for professional advice (psychologist, couples therapist, psychiatrist).
8. Service limitations and disclaimer
CoVœur is not a medical, therapeutic, or mental health service under applicable regulations, and is not an emergency service. The Service operates asynchronously, with no human on duty: no immediate reply is guaranteed, at any hour. It is therefore not suited to emergencies, crises, or severe psychological distress.
If you are in such a situation, do not use CoVœur: contact one of the services below directly, where professionals are reachable at any hour.
In France:
- 15 (SAMU) or 112 (European emergency number) — life-threatening emergency
- 3114 — national suicide prevention line, free, 24/7
- SOS Amitié — 09 72 39 40 50, or sos-amitie.com — listening service, free, 24/7
- 3919 — Violences Femmes Info (domestic violence), free and anonymous
- 17 — police, in case of immediate danger
Outside France:
- United States — 988, Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, free, 24/7 (call or text)
- United Kingdom — 116 123, Samaritans, free, 24/7
- Elsewhere — your local emergency number, or findahelpline.com for a helpline in your country
Referral and limitation of the conversation. If, despite this warning, you use the Service in such a situation, and if CoVœur considers — through automated detection of warning signals or after review by a professional — that you are in an emergency or in severe distress, CoVœur will refer you to the services above and may limit or suspend the conversation until you have indicated that you have contacted one of them.
This limitation is not a sanction. Its purpose is to avoid keeping someone who needs immediate human help inside an automated exchange. It does not affect your rights under the Terms of Sale.
CoVœur disclaims any liability for personal, relational, or other decisions made based on the analyses produced by the Service.
9. WhatsApp conversation analysis
If you choose to submit a WhatsApp conversation for analysis:
- Both partners’ consent is required before any processing
- The conversation is anonymized before analysis (first names, places, and other identifying elements are replaced with neutral identifiers)
- Raw data is not retained after analysis
- You warrant that you have obtained your partner’s explicit consent
10. Pricing and payment
Some features of the Service may be paid. The applicable pricing terms are communicated before any purchase. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
11. Intellectual property
All Service content (generated reports, prompts, interface, texts, visuals, code, the CoVœur brand) is protected by intellectual property law and is the exclusive property of CoVœur.
Some content is made available by CoVœur under a licence granted by its rights holders and remains their property. This applies in particular to the audio recordings offered in the personal space (relaxation, breathing or meditation sessions), the rights to which belong to their authors or performers, or to their successors in title.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, adaptation, distribution, making available or exploitation, even partial and by any means, without the prior written authorisation of CoVœur or of the relevant rights holder, is strictly prohibited. This prohibition covers in particular the downloading, recording, copying and sharing of the audio recordings outside the Service.
Reports generated for a user’s personal use may be kept and shared by that user privately, with no commercial use.
12. Personal data
The collection and processing of your personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy and our Ethical Charter, available on the website. CoVœur is committed to processing your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
13. Availability and maintenance
CoVœur strives to ensure the Service is available 24/7, but cannot guarantee it. Interruptions for maintenance or updates may occur. CoVœur cannot be held liable for the consequences of temporary Service unavailability.
14. Changes to the Terms
CoVœur reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. In the event of a material change, users will be informed via WhatsApp. Continuing to use the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, the competent courts of Paris will have exclusive jurisdiction.
